ED录取率高，是不是适合所有的人 ED录取也会有很多的潜规则 。 实际留给国际学生（尤其是亚裔，从各学校的统计结论来看，亚裔毕业生虽然成绩优秀，但在为校园和community做出的贡献都是较少的，作为校友的回馈意识也很弱，这为亚裔申请名校带来了一定的阻碍）的配额也是限的，因此竞争非常激烈。对于有助学金需求的学生来说，有部分学校会表明不建议在ED申请助学金。 在TOP30的学校中，也有个别学校是开设两轮ED的，也就是我们常说的ED2。如果在第一轮ED中被DEFER或者是REJECT，还可以考虑申请第二轮ED。开设ED2的学校有RICE，EMORY，NYU等学校。ED1如果被defer到RD阶段，便不再具有排他性，可以再申请其他学校ED2。 另外Chicago去年在EA的基础上又同时开设了两轮ED，申请也变得更加激烈。 （ED2的截止日期是12/15-1/15左右，时间和RD一样，录取结果会在2月中左右发放。 TOP50综合性大学中有ED1的学校 Columbia University 哥伦比亚大学11/1 University of Chicago 芝加哥大学11/1 Duke University 杜克大学11/1 University of Pennsylvania 宾夕法尼亚大学11/1 Johns Hopkins University 约翰·霍普金斯大学11/1 Dartmouth College 达特茅斯学院11/1 Northwestern University 西北大学11/1 Brown University 布朗大学11/1…
